Martin Whittaker
He has lived in Hook since 1994 and was first elected as a councillor in 1999, serving as Chair from 2010-14. He resigned in 2016 to become a Parish Clerk for two local councils for 5 years, becoming a Hook Councillor again in 2023.
From 2015 to 2018 he chaired the Hook Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group and has a strong interest in preserving Hook as a vibrant community and an excellent place to live
He is Vice Chair of the Planning and Infrastructure (P&I) Committee. He also sits on the Finance, Strategy & Resources (FSR) Committee and the North East Hook Community Project (NEHCP) Committee. He is a member of the IT Working Group
