To enable us to give you the best service, please direct all enquiries to the Parish Council office in the first instance. The office opening hours are 9am – 12noon Monday to Friday but phone calls may be answered outside these times – or please leave a message.

During our office hours, FREE dog waste bags are available.  Outside of this they are available from Hartletts Café

Our offices at Hook Community Centre, Ravenscroft, RG27 9NN are accessible for wheelchair users.  There is ample disabled parking available onsite.

The Clerk to the Council (Proper Officer) is responsible for all aspects of the management of the Council’s business and governance.  In addition, they are the Officer supporting Full Council meetings, the Finance, Strategy and Resources (FSR) Committee and North East Hook Community Project (NEHCP) Committee.

The Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) manages the administration of the financial affairs of the Council.

The Environment and Community (E&C) Officer manages the open spaces, play areas, sports pitches, grounds maintenance contracts, the cemetery and street furniture and is the Officer supporting the E & C Committee

The Planning and Infrastructure (P&I) Officer co-ordinates responses to Hart District Council planning applications relevant to Hook, is the developer and local infrastructure liaison and is the Officer supporting the P&I Committee.

Community Engagement Officer

The Community Engagement Officer is responsible for updating the Parish Council’s website, noticeboards, its presence on social media and general PR, in addition to the detailed organisation of council-run events.  They are also responsible for answering day to day enquiries by phone, email or in person.
