There is still time left to enter our Jubilee competition

To mark the Queen’s Platinum we are creating a small garden area in Wellworth Park. Initially, it will have three trees and two benches. We will have two plaques that will go in the garden.

We would like the residents of Hook (including children), to design the plaques. The designs should be A4 and depict what the Jubilee means to them. The Parish Council will select two pictures to be made into plaques and a third will be made into a card that will be sent to the Queen on the village’s behalf.

Please send your entries via email to or drop them into our office. If our office is closed, please slide them under our door as the post box tends to get damp and we would hate for anyone’s entry to get damaged.

The closing date for entries is 25th April 2022.
