“Would you like to be a part of Hooks Great Poppy Challenge 2021? Thanks to our lovely, enthusiastic volunteers, we have over 18,000 poppies to attach to the drapes that will be erected around the village after the hanging baskets come down in October and taken down before the Christmas lights go up.
The Elizabeth Hall is booked from 11.30am on Wednesday 28th through to 5.00pm on Friday 30th July. If you are free to join us anytime over these 3 days, please email to let us know so we can work out how much of a workforce we have. We need to know rough figures so that we can order tea and cake for everyone! “
