South East River Trust (SERT) – Rivers Week events

The South East River Trust (SERT) are running a series of events next week on the River Loddon and its tributaries to celebrate Rivers Week.  This includes work on the River Whitewater that runs through the village.
On Wednesday 22nd September between 10.00-15.00 they will be replenishing gravels that provide valuable fish spawning beds, which are home to the invertebrates like mayflies, providing food for fish populations. If you wish to get involved in any of the events they are running you will need to book.
It also includes the other events they are running that week elsewhere, including a Bat Walk along the River Blackwater near Camberley.
