Odiham Consolidated Charities have advised that they have two properties available at their Gurney Court site in Odiham.
The first is a two bedroom, single-storey cottage with Garden and parking which is being offered as affordable housing for a limited tenure. The house will be available for shorthold rental for an initial 6 months’ period, with 2 months’ rolling notice thereafter. They are looking for applicants who are closely connected to the Odiham area and local key workers (such as teachers, nurses, firefighters and postal delivery workers). The house will be ready for rental from early April 2022. If you would like to apply for this property, please obtain application forms from Acorn Property Management Services Limited, High Street, Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, RG27 8NW (Tel: 01252 842795). Alternatively, forms can be downloaded from their website at www.odihamcc.co.uk. Forms should be returned to Acorn not later than Monday 21st February 2022.
The second is a one bedroom almshouse and is suitable for a couple or a single person. The almshouse site comprises 26 houses with a resident warden. This is an elderly community and the Trustees invite applications from suitable persons resident in the parish of Odiham and North Warnborough who are in need.
The application forms should be returned to Bridget Munns by 21st February 2022. Information given on the application forms must show the applicant’s name, address, age and occupation and include sufficient personal and financial information together with other evidence to demonstrate that the applicant qualifies for the appointment. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.
