Monthly Bulletin: March 2020

Hook Community Award

The closing date for nominating someone is approaching.  Nominations should be submitted in writing to the Parish Council Office or email .   The nomination form can be found on our website at https://hook.gov.uk/about-hook-parish-council/council-publications/documents/under other documents.

The only firm rule for nomination is, the person or organisation must have given service to our community on an entirely voluntary basis and over a sustained period.  If you have previously nominated someone who was not the successful nominee that year, due to the stiff competition, please re-nominate them again for consideration this year.

The closing date for nominations is 30th March 2020

Annual Village Meeting

Are you involved with a local group or organisation?  Tables are filling up fast for the Hook Annual Village Meeting (AVM) on Wednesday 29th April.  The format is the same as in previous years.  Doors will open to the public for refreshments and a chance to look round the exhibition of local organisations at 8 pm.

It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase what your group or organisation does and a chance to recruit members.  Last year, over 25 groups were represented at the exhibition and the 150 residents enjoyed some entertaining presentations during the formal part of the evening.

If you would like a table, please contact us at
