Local “Walk In” Vaccine Clinic

As you will have seen, the government has made clear that the country faces an impending challenge with cases of covid rising rapidly. There has been an urgent national request for all GP practices to support the increased delivery of covid booster vaccinations over the coming weeks. Practices have therefore been asked to prioritise urgent care and cancer symptoms only and to stop routine work. This will allow them to deliver extra vaccines.

If Whitewater Health patients have an urgent problem and cannot wait until the New Year, or have symptoms that could be cancer please contact the surgery. Information about whether symptoms need urgent help can be found at https://111.nhs.uk/. The practice will continue to keep the e-consult system open to help, but after this request has been triaged, patients may be asked to contact the practice in the New Year.

The practice know that cancelling appointments is frustrating, and would not do so unless they absolutely had to. The practice thanks you all for your patience and support during this incredibly challenging time.
