Hook Parish Council triumphs in the Hampshire Association of Local Councils Awards (HALC)

Following on from the successes of Hook village at the Fullers Hampshire Village of the Year Awards 2019 (where we were awarded 5 awards), Hook Parish Council has triumphed in this years Hampshire Association of Local Councils Awards (HALC).

In the Communications section, the Parish Council was presented with the Glass Trophy as Winner for Best Use of Social Media and was Runner-up for the Best Local Council Website (the e-mango Shield).
Anne Atkins was Runner-up for the Award of Hampshire Clerk of the Year 2019 (The Kirk Shield).

The Chairman of Hook Parish Council, Jane Worlock, said, “This is a great achievement by the Parish Council and our Clerk, Anne Atkins. As a local Council, our excellence in community engagement, via social media, has been recognised as the best in Hampshire. Thanks go to our officers, who provide such a great service for our residents and especially Anne, who deserves this special recognition.
