The 2020 Covid legislation, allowing local government meetings to be held virtually, was not
extended by the government beyond 7th May, as expected. Guidance from the local
government advisory bodies is that meetings can now only be held face to face. The Council
does not feel there is a practical way to hold this event safely, meeting social distancing
requirements for all attendees.
It is with regret that the 2021 Hook Annual Village Meeting is, therefore, cancelled.
Presentations from the speakers, will be published on our website on or immediately
after 12th May. We will publish the questions submitted in advance, on our website, along with the
responses on or shortly after 13th May.
