Each year the Council includes in its budget, provision to give grants to support local groups and organisations with their activities, within the community of Hook. Grant applications are accepted throughout the year and considered by the Environment and Community (E&C) Committee at their monthly meetings.
At the last meeting on 16th November, the Committee considered the applications received and have awarded grants to support the following groups:
Bluebell Café – £1000
This will be put towards the running cost of the minibus to collect Hook residents (suffering with any form of dementia, any other illness or for those who are lonely ) and transport them to The Bluebell Cafe at Holdshott Farm (Rosies Tearoom) Heckfield RG27 0JZ.
