After over 20 years at Hook Parish Council, we have said a fond farewell to Anne Atkins, our Executive Officer, as she retired today.
She has guided the Councillors and staff through an ever changing range of activities and projects and has been instrumental in shaping the day to day operations of the Council as Hook has evolved and grown. She has done so with good humour, endless patience, wisdom, and resilience.
She will be missed by staff, residents and councillors alike. We would like to wish her well and hope she enjoys her retirement, although we are sure she will be busier than ever.
She has spent the last few weeks handing over her substantial knowledge to our new but experienced Clerk, Sarah Dignan. This handover should allow for a seamless transition
