Lots of activities are planned for the day that all can be undertaken without leaving your home.

10:30am – To mark the 75th anniversary of victory for Europe over Germany in the Second World War, Hampshire County Council is celebrating with a specially produced video with personal reflections and a special performance from the Military Wives Choir – This will be shown on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/hantsconnect/), YouTube (https://youtu.be/Vi8EOAv3QxE) and on their Website https://www.hants.gov.uk/

11am – 2 minutes silence on your doorstep

3pm – Churchill’s historic speech will be shown on the BBC

4pm  – Grab a picnic blanket and head for your front garden (if you have one) for Tea and scones\Coffee and Cake

6pm Dinner and raise your glass to your Neighbours

9pm Nationwide sing a long to “We’ll meet again” with the Royal British Legion after the Queen’s address.
